ULTRA - FBE - ABRASION (Fusion Bond Epoxy Abrasion) coating was developed for long term external corrosion protection of pipelines used in the toughest environments. Using our proprietary application process, Ultra - FBE - Abrasion consists of a fusion bond epoxy powder base coat and an abrasion top coat applied to heated, abrasively cleaned pipe.

Product Features

  • With a choice of several powder coatings, Ultra – FBE - Abrasion can withstand operating temperatures from -40°C to 110°C in dry conditions.
  • Ideal for directional drilling and road crossings.
  • Provides superior damage resistance to pipelines in rocky and mountainous environments.
  • Intended for use as an external coating system for buried or submerged oil or gas pipelines.
  • Offers excellent adhesion and cathodic disbondment resistance.
