ULTRA - FBE (Fusion Bond Epoxy) coating was developed for long term external corrosion protection of pipelines. ULTRA - FBE consists of a fusion bond epoxy powder applied to heated, abrasively cleaned pipe.

Product Features

  • With a choice of several powder coatings, Ultra - FBE can withstand operating temperatures from -40°C to 65°C (minimum thickness 0.30 mm/11.8 mils).
  • Rating of temperatures greater than 65°C and up to 110°C is available (contact Garneau Inc. for the applied thickness).
  • Intended for use as an external coating system for buried or submerged oil or gas pipelines.
  • Offers excellent adhesion and cathodic disbondment resistance.
  • Developed for moderate to high temperatures.
