ULTRABOND-III-SE

- Three Layer Polyethylene External Pipe Coating System

ULTRABOND - III - SE consists of a Fusion Bond Epoxy primer, followed by a Polymeric Adhesive and a high-density side extruded polyethylene outer jacket. It is ideally suited for extreme temperature and soil stress conditions, and is easily applied to ERW and large diameter raised weld pipe.

Product Features

  • Recommended for service conditions between -40°C and 85°C. Also available in a 95°C version.
  • Intended for use as an external coating for buried or submerged oil or gas pipelines.
  • Offers superior adhesion, cathodic disbondment resistance and mechanical protection.
  • Ideally suited for directional and/or bored crossings with the option of individual layers being modified to meet the most demanding requirements.
  • Press down rollers used in the application process ensures complete adhesion between the layers which in turn removes all air pockets and therefore minimizes corrosion growth.
  • Exceptional for moist conditions and moderately rocky conditions.
  • Excellent corrosion, moisture and soil stress resistance.
